well there is a 'spare'hole there where they are replicas of the mk4.

you know the crappy universal side repeaters you get from motorworld? got one of those which plugged straight into the original slot in the front indicator and the plugged the bulb in. it worked... but... it was flashing fast where the bulb is a hell of alot smaller!

long shot - is it earthing properly??
whats it doing when ya put the hazards on???
does it flash properly then or not at all??

where i only did 1 indicator it flashed normally with the hazards on...

it flashes as if there is no bulb there...

Simple problem, bulbs are too small, you need to run the standard bulbs, side repeaters will not do the job and are too low a wattage, from memory they are only 5w.

the Standard bulbs will no where near fit into the headlights.. they are huge...

Hence why I said they are not designed to do what your trying to do, standard bulbs are 21w each, you have now switched to a pair of bulbs which total 10w.

The only idea I can suggest is to have a look at some of motorbike led ones on ebay which should cure the problem.

I hope to do a project thread on this as this sorta thing is not seen very often! just lookin through ebay for some bulbs now...
