I carried out the TB cleaning process as mentioned earlier and as expected the rear side of the butterfly was gummed up slightly, half a can of carb cleaner and some fine wire wool coupled with some mighty elbow grease and the inside was spick and span in no time.
So far the hunting idle and stalling has stopped, the only issue i'm finding now is that it idles slightly faster and deceleration of the revs just around the 1200 rpm mark seems to be drop slower and hover a touch before resting. Im wondering whether this could be a throttle cable issue or something else now?
