battery
« on: 17 January 2010, 01:18 »
hay guys quick question hopefully someone will know.

while driving my car tonight i lost power to everything, lights, dash, etc and the air bag light came on.
i managed to get home and pop the bonet, thinking it was either a battery fault or altenator, i tested them and the battery wasn't charging but the altenator was working fine, i popped the small box on top of the battery and discoved the lead that comes from the altenator was melted and had melted the small box,
i need the small box but am unsure what its called does anyone know the right name or even the part number,
cheers guys

Hi
It seems that people just replace the whole of the 'fuse box' that sits on top of the battery.
