How do they compare with a front-wheel-drive wearing winter tyres?

Would it be more sensible to highlight the advantages of winter tyres rather than 4-wheel-drive in announcements like that?

Rolfe.

Good point that Rolfe,
I think this government needs to educate people on these matters,
Even our works 4x4 Navara isn't that good in the snow due to normal road tyres and not off road type tyres :undecided:

Winter tyres have a definate advantage over summer tyres in this weather

Our government is so convinced that in the future we'll be taking refuge from all-year round dizzying heat under the shade of ten thousand wind turbines, they'd never admit that we might have a need for winter tyres.

Glad you like the Vredys though. Paint the R32 alloys gunmetal, they'll look okay then.

Is that the Meribels?
I think I'll wait until Summer and buy a set of Winter wheels / tyres whilst they're a bit cheaper.  No doubt I'll need them come December again.

Here's why I think they might be a good idea.

This was round about New Year's Day.  I did have some help with the initial shovelling but mostly I kept it clear myself.
