Colour concept Golfs
« on: 21 October 2004, 17:16 »
Just a question about Colour Concept Golfs.

How rare are they?

Is the insurance more expensive?

Are they more expensive to buy, and if so is the extra worth is?

is it only the interior that is different?

Cheers

Can't remember the exact figures on how many made, I have it somewhere, not stupidly rare but still not a common sight.

Think the insurance group is just the same.

They do command a slight premium, mainly the red and blue versions. The green and yellow are too shocking for most!

Yep just the colour matched leather interior plus some subtle exterior badges

Not worth the extra money imo.
My son-in-law had a black one and yes it was a nice interior but not much else going for it.

Also i think they only come as an 8v.

According to parkers colour concepts are worth about 5-7% more than standard GTis, which sounds reasonable - 5% of ?3k being ?150

I think it's worth it if you really like the interior, be careful not to pay over the odds for one.

Apart from the interior bits the only other colour concept thing was 15" Solitude Six spoke Alloys as found on VR6 Highlines and Corrado Storms.

A VR6 isn't a way of life, it's just a car.

Do all colour concepts have heated leather seats?
