Is the power gain really worth it??
What's the ups and downs of having it??
Can it do any harm??
1. Yes, definitely
2. Insurance may well take a hike (try Greenlight Insurance - very mod friendly).
2. Warranty may be affected if known by VW.
2. Wheelspin much easier
3. Very little if you're sensible, on the Mk V a few DV's failed, clutch slip reports on some of the very highly tuned ones,
As Erik says, do not risk
not telling your insurance company......you stand to lose everything you own in a civil court case, if your insurance company refused to pay up on a big claim.
