Looks ok - seem to remember the early "R20" pictures (photoshopped jobbies) looking like this - minus the bonnet vents!

Keelaw, I'm surprised you like it...

I think it looks like aftermarket, saxo-spec tat.
MKV GTI | Reflex Silver | 5-dr | Anthracite 17" | Manual | Highline MFD | Cruise | Revision 'D' DV | Dirty Pipes |

The GTD is like a blow up doll. The GTI is like a proper woman. Sure the doll might last longer, and the woman might have higher running costs, but which would you rather have?

The DRLs are a bit Golf R wannabee. If I had a Mk 6 GTI, this body kit would be a big NO NO.
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!

^^^^^^^^^^ indeed.

I thought the whole thing about us lot was we liked the subtle thing of the VW's... Why make a GTI look like a chav Focus RS?

yeah normally I'm not keen on the overly aftermarket look, but i think this kinda looks alright, and i reckon even better in black.  perhaps i'll change my mind when i see what the alloys look like, tho these do fill the arches very nicely.

all said and done, i doubt i'll ever buy it though!

^^^^^^ I've figured out why I don't like it....!

The bonnet vents look like they're lifted from a V12 Vantage, which might just be my favourite car ever.

As you say though, might suit a dark blue/black a bit better.
