Just had a little re-read through to get up to date! Still love this car mate.
Is your son's car on here yet?!

I've sinned and sold the Golf now to buy a Polo 6N2 (1.4 16v). Had it almost a year now so if you remember who I am I'll be surprised!

Good to see the Golf is still having little jobs done to keep it as nice as it is. Perfect example of a proper MK2 GTi!

I do remember you & I do remember seeing that you had sold the Golf...

My son started a thread and then some dickhead went down the side of his car with a stanley knife & then slashed 2 tyres..

So he's a bit fed up with it and then to cap it off someone ran into his drivers door last week - Uninsured Driver so no come back and the fuzz don't give a sh!te!....

So he's saving up for a GTI...

Scum bags! Need a good pasting! I still wish I knew who broke into my Golf.

Shame to hear about the police, especially when it's there job to keep those drivers off the road eh!

I'd love a GTi, buying one is one thing, insuring it another! Good for him though! Good two fingered salute to the low life who thinks he's a big man! Cowards wouldn't even think about it if he was sitting in the car!!

Complete Barstewards.... Good Job I didn't get hold of 'em that's for sure...

We priced up insurance and it's not much more for a GTI in his own name as his Driver!! Depends how much he wants one.... Gotta keep working his ass off if its to come a reality....

Will all be well worth it I'm sure, especially if he can get a good example!
Does whether it's an 8 or 16v make much difference?
