She has been with Eibach springs & Boge turbo struts, lowers it by 30mm

The pictures only show them fitted to the rears... Fronts have been done since - just haven't taken any pictures.. It sits really well and handles much better...

I have also fitted Eibach rear ARB... Front is getting fitted soon...

Should get a post up for my MK2 really! It's only a 1.3 Ryder, but it's a 5dr Tornado red one with GTi bits, just needs big bumpers and GTi suspension now then it's job done.

My first car, so I couldn't be happier with it. Here's a pic....

Should get some new pics done really, got smoked side repeaters on now (to match the GTi rear lights, worked well too!)

She looks really nice M8...

My son has a 1.6 Driver with GTI bits on too but its not quite as nice as yours, but it looks well with his BBS RA's on it.

What alloys are yours??

I keep looking for some RM's but they are silly money here and they keep popping up on Ebay.de... normally when I'm skint!!

Put up your own thread... Its great to pop back and look at the pics every now & then...

It does amaze me what condition some MK2 Golfs are in considering there age, partly down to careful owners I'm sure but down to the quality of VWs more I suspect.

It has had a lot of work, engine needed a load of work along with other bits when my twin brother first had it standard (as his first car) but it's been well worth it. He ended up paying over £400 to get it through an MOT because we didn't have the heart to have it scrapped. New exhaust from the manifold, new brake parts, new shock absorbers, work on the valves.... most recently rods needed doing for tracking, but I don't mind spending the money on it at all.

Not sure what the wheels are to be honest mate. Cost 180 with nearly brand new tyres on though so were a bit of a bargain. Do like the RMs too, but same, can't afford them and money always goes else where!

Will do
