Fastest = Early Small Bumper 16v
Nick
I've heard this from somewhere before, even with small bumper digi's are quicker than their big bumper brothers?
Mates had a few big bumpers, a couple of which were digi's. They were quick, but didn't have an urgency about them, as in, throttle response etc. But then after that he bought an 89' digi with 188,000 miles that felt "rapid!!" ( tongue: ) and quicker than all the other tidy, properly set up, big bumpers that he previously owned before.
We thought it must of been a cam in there, or a 2 litre bottom end or something but later found out it there wasn't, and in fact it was stock and only put out 109 at the fly on the rollers...
Consequently I bought a low mileage 89' digi and it too has got that urgency as well...
Is it the injectors?
Can anybody explain this?
Cheers
Marc
