front fog light switch

got a 1996 gti 8v.....do they all have front fogs?

found the rear fog switch is part of the headlight switch, just wonderin where the front 1 is/should be??

if its got pistons or tits, either way its gonna be expensive

pulled the h'light switch out to get the rears......

No it is a 2 postion switch.

 :huh:  click it right for sides and normal lights....... do u pull it out twice aswell?

sorry for the dumb question, its my 1st vw  :embarassed: lol

pull out once for fronts (if you have them) then pull out again for the rears

thiers 2 leds, green for fronts and yellow for rears, if yours is rears only it will just have the one led and logo on the switch

and you fog lamps on the bumper will look like mine in my sig, but clear not smoked (notice the projector, non foglight cars just have a reflector here)

If you look at Kells car in the pic, the lights in the bumper closest to the number plate are the fogs.

easy to fit if you decide to upgrade

you need the fog lights, switch and loom, the loom replaces the one thats already their on your car, it just has extra plug son it for the fogs, attaches to the loom at the top of the rad, (sounds a mare but its real easy to do mate)

the front fog switch is different to the rear only switch, and its not fitted unless the car came with fogs from the factory. as above 1st click = front fogs, 2nd click = front + rear fogs
