stumpy bee sting...

just scanning ebay (as i have most of the day!!) and come across these stumpy alloy besting ariels, there all advertised for mk4 golfs/beetles etc, do they fit the sting on my 16v also?? i wouldnt normally ask this as id go and try and swap between my mk2 and my mk4, but its raining and wifey has took the mk4 to work........

dont wanna spend anymore on the 16v as its for sale but reckon they look cool...

i was looking for one of these a while back.. but couldnt find one that wasn't chavvy.. they were all metallic blue or silver..
Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...

i too have seen some 'chav' type ones about, but these ones on ebay were plain alloy for the mk4 etc, just wondering if theyd fit the mk2 as it was raining and couldnt be @rsed to check!! lol

I took a trip down the Rtec today cos my battery died and i had to charge it up, I was looking at them today also, They have some black ones that will fit perfectally on a Mk2, Also have white, red and blue (proper colours, Not oxidised and boyracerish)

they sell good ones in halfords, they are ally but are black. about the only styling thing id ever buy from halfords (well maybe some led washers :P)

I bought mine from halfords. just a plain alloy bee sting. Comes with three shafts so you can alter the length. looks pretty good and is holding up well.
