hi, well today i lowered the golf 40mm front and 35 rear and im very pleased with the results i think it looks awesome! just what i was after.
what you think  :smiley:

yeh it does but its better than being to low on the rear and looking chav i like a bit of nose diving anyway!!

Looks Fine fella, i would love to have a mega low car dropped to 100mm on coilovers, but what allot of people here don't understand is that we cant due to using our cars every day, and having families.

If it was a show car yes then great, but ive lowered enough cars in the past to know big wheels+springs=choppy ride.

So just remember be nice they may be a reason why its not scraping the floor, but its sure not a 4x4 looks fine.

shepgti get a grip it hardly looks all wrong maybe not your taste but if everyone modding to your taste the world would be a boring place because everything would be the same.

when did you fit them as they will settle over the next few weeks (I carry something heavy in the boot to speed this up  :wink:)

and after driving my old gti at various heights a 40mm drop is sensible  :cool:

yeh true i have just lowered it and parked it on the front of my house where the picture is taken, not driven it anywhere yet ive gotta wait for the log book so i can swap my private plate from other car to this and get insurance.
