I keep on getting air in my hydraulic system, anyone know if you can convert the 16v back to cable?

I am fitting a mk3 02a box in my mk1 and will be fitting a cable clutch to it. I would fix the hydraulics on your car before changing to cable. Check the master cylinder and the slave for faulty/worn seals. It is a lot of work to change to a cable clutch (pedal, cable, actuator, etc).
