I dont think you have a leak i think you may be over fuelling , or not running properley on all cylinders .

Are the revs higher than normal [i.e. running on choke ]

I had it tuned on a rolling road and all was ok, then the revs droped and would cut out. i turned up the idle a bit to compensate and it was fine.  she seems to hunt a bit tho up and down, only the last few days i can smell petrol in the car and from the zorst ???

Check the plugs for signs of over fuelling ... I can't remember exactly how they look, but most Haynes manuals have a section at the back to help. If it's that bad then they should look different.

Next .. can u smell the fuel under the bonnet???

If not remember fuel can evaporate dam fast, so u might have a leak else where and just never see a trail !!

Petrol in exhaust fumes just doesn't happen - if there was that amount of unburnt fuel you'd be popping all over the place .. far more likely to be a leak in and around the tank or fuel filler.

Hope this helps u get started ...

Right I have been out when it was not raining and had a look.

I had to move it from one garage drive to the other and it smelt like its running rich due to the smell of petrol from the zorst. did not give it time to warm up tho so choke would of been on.

Took the plugs out and smelled quite strong of petrol but would of done if not warmed up. they looked black but not to coked up.

checked the breather's and they seem fine.

Still seems sluggish.

Only had her rolling tuned a month or go ::)
