Another one bites the dust

Hi folks,my local breaker's yard got a G reg 98000 mile MK2 GTI in under the scrappage scheme yesterday,I posted about it
on the Scottish VAG forum as a heads up for folk needing parts,the trim itself was mint,here's a pic of the car on Monday



I went down to the yard at 9.30 this morning to ask about various parts,only to be told by the owner that he needed the space and the car
was just about to be crushed,what a bloody waste,to say I was raging would be an understatement. :angry: :angry:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Don't think he scrapped it mate, he was after letting people know it was there so people could get bits if they needed to

Correct mate,I would have loved bits off it,good source of spares for my MK1 Campaign :cry:
