HELP ANYONE

I cant get it in (for the 1st time in my life)  :grin:

everythin is setup it sounds fantastic

BUT

i cant push it in all the way either the wires or sumthin else is stopping it, whats the trick to it ?

and any1 with the same unit how the hell do you change the colour illumination, ive read the manual but i dont understand it  :rolleyes:

it is tight in the dash
best thing is to try and push the iso plug down to behind hte heater controls
it takes a bit of fiddling but it will go eventually
as for the display colour follow this sequence
press the function button then rotate the right hand knob till it comes up with COLOR
when it says that press the knob and then turn it to get the color you want
when done press the knob again

Does the cage you get with it have to go in 1st ?

I tried to push it in but it did feel tight so i tried the HU without the cage but not sure if thats right  :undecided:

stupid question but, what security measures are there on these types of head units as i guess you cant remove the face?

the headunit is screwed into the radio cage which is covered by the facia trim

hello mate, you need to fit the cage then secure it with the tabs, then plumb all the wires in. If you take the panels off under the steering wheel near the headunit you can get your hand up and guide the wires while the headunit goes in so they don't catch. It was a VERY tight fit for mine too

Ive got red on at the moment  :laugh:

So i need to squeeze that cage in 1st? and what tabs are they?
