just helped me mate put a gamma and boot changer in his passat, thats a 99 he had a beta in it, so guess what, no rear speakers! had to run new cable through the rubber sleeves etc into the door as there was no wiring for rear speakers already in place, i would assume its the same with yours? easy enough to do any way, oh yeah if ya want to fit tweeters aswell behind the grill where there spose to go youll need a cross over to split the sound, or just get some decent high power 3way speakers for the large area in the door and that will save alot of messin about.
