Sound proofing
« on: 01 January 2010, 16:36 »
My golfs off on wednesday to have the rusty drain plug cut out and welded up/ re-sealed following my leak saga . Ive dried all the sponge sound proofing out to re-use, but under this there was for want of a better description blue bubble wrap filled with what looks like sand. Some of these had split and to be honest where knackered . Would a sheet of dyna mat / brown bread be better or is it a bit over the top . A sheet of brown bread off evil bay is quite cheap . I asked at the stealers about the blue stuff and they said they might be able to get some but the price was going to be round about the same for the brown bread stuff.

Having never used this type off sound proffing before is it easy to use / work with or is it a bit of a arse to use

cheers

James
