central locking

at the mo my new gti has no central locking but my old project one im breaking does will i have the wires and stuff i need in the doors to just swap the c/l units over
<br />theres only one way to roll and thats in a vdub

no you'll need to swap everything, wires, pipes etc. bit of a pain if cars dont have the same fusebox as well. if it was me id just get an aftermarket remote cl kit instead

cool thanks for the help just thought that the looms were the same so mite have the wires there to just add them in

yeah the non-cl cars dont have any of the wiring or vac pipes, so need to put that in as well. its not that difficult till you get to the tailgate, thats a bit of a faff! also the boot lock & button is different, so to get that working need to take the old lock off your car and fit the tumblers to the cl lock.  again not too hard just fiddly
