Top mount bolt removal!!!

HAHA you guessed it, how the hell do i get the nut off the top withought a gas gun!!? I dont have the correct size allen key either which is mad cos i have about a million of the buggers so if someone could let me know what size allen key goes into the top strut that would be a great help as well as anyother advice on gettin that nut off!!!
Im in the middle of the job now so need help quick as i need my car for tonight!!!  :undecided:

Its not reallr driveable at the min as the rears are down and the front is up!!! i can do it i just need the right allen key size as ive adapted a socket!!

should be alright to dive it like that just take it easy. I drove mine to my mates house to borrow his windy gun with 3 corners lowered and passenger front up in the air, no big deal just dont drive it like you're doing a timed rally stage ;)

as above if you dont have the right size key in your set its probably a 7mm, I found one of my old shocks was 7 and the other was 6mm which was fun.  If you pop into halfords they doo a deep reach 7mm allen key with a big comfy grip handle on it, its for doign brake pad swaps on certain models.  Makes this job a doddle, just need a lamda/diesel injector or sparkplug socket with spanner flats on so you can poke the allen key down t' middle

Im embarrassed to say ive taken it to a garage 40 to fit them which i didnt think was too bad :s! Att least therel be done by the end of the day which is what i needed!

If you know anyone with an impact wrench that plugs into the lighter socket, that will get it off without the allen key.
