My insurance renewal in August should be epic low then, I thought my insurance from the change last year was ace, from £1000 to £650 with everything declared like for like.

well my quote is good, last year's quote was £1550, this year £1152 with the same company (ecar), that's just under £400 saving.

When I first insured my GTi it was £800ish with Admiral, 1ncd, 19. Check Bell and Elephant.
Then mods sent it to £1200

Adam, when I first insured my GL it was with Kwik-Fit, cost me £1000, then when I bought the BBS to go on they took it up to £1400! I cancelled the policy after 6 months and restarted with Admiral who charged me £970 for the year with all the mods (at the time declared), sitting on £650 for the year right now with everything declared and adding many things at no extra cost (even HIDs
) is just great.

Bad postcode or not that's insane price. My CR0 is a sh!t postcode. I only paid £200 more to insure my 2.0T and I'm quite a bit younger than you with less no claims. I would seriously shop about as I'm sure you can find cheaper than that.
