abolutley autosol works daddy bizz, use ur finger tip to massage it on then a soft cotton wool to take it off but leave it on 4 a good few mins and it will lick it all clean for u, i had my powerflow exhaust on for over a year and wondered why the hell it was soo mucky even after a good clean with normal body shampoo then discovered autosol.

00 grade wire wool together with autosol/AG metal polish/a.n.other - they are all pretty much the same

my favourite is belgom alu as it contains a wax element so offers protection too... I often use autosol/AG MP and then follow it up with belgom applied on a cloth (old toothbrush for the inside of the pipe) and removed with a microfibre that you DON'T use on anything other than metalwork

personally, i use meguiars metal polish as to me it seems less abrasive than autosol. apply with a applicator pad and then remove with a micro fibre cloth.
