What have I broken then...
« on: 29 December 2009, 09:26 »
Had a fight with a kerb this morning (fecking ice). Only hit it at about 5-10mph but managed to seriously break something. Off side front wheel is now sitting in the back of the arch and rubbing on the lining. Don't think my mechanic is working at the moment so it's going to be sitting in the work car park for a while! Any ideas on what I've broken?

Jack it up and remove the wheel, it should be obvious what youv'e damaged.

Wish it was that easy...

Got no trolley jack and the widowmaker definately won't fit under.

Bent wishbone and destroyed ball joint. Oh, and a 'slightly' kerbed TT comp. I've kept the bit of kerb as a momento though!!

Have a good look around where the wiishbone bolts, if you have hit it hard enough to bend it then you may have tweaked the shell.
