1.8T or VR6 Engine swap - opinions needed plz

Hi everyone, i am new to this site after acquiring a near mint Mk3 Golf GTi Colour Concept yesterday.

It hasnt taken long but i am missing the lack of power so was thinking of maybe a VR6 or 1.8T conversion?

I was hoping someone might be able to give a few pointers on how hard it is to do? etc or even companies/websites for me to go to?

If your gonna put in a different engine then its gotta be a 1.8t, not worth putting in a vr as you can buy a vr'd mk3 already....admittedly not a colour concept vr but hey.

Best choice really I suppose, costs more than a nice VR6  with money to spend on handling though?
Learn to love your 8v and stop to help any dubber in a broken Mk2

Perfectly said, and if you do decide to get a VR6, you can still get heated leather seats...Or swap the seats with your CC.
