stripped down the pcv side of things today, no split pipes just gunge in them although the main pipe coming from the oil cool is slightly broken where the clip goes, could this be the fault or not  :undecided: :undecided:

try bypassing it all with 19mm oil resiliant hose?

you can't bypass the bit in the photo, that's the block vent

what he said  :wink: the clip is pushing down but wondering if it's 100%.  :undecided: cant see it causing the fault, was expecting to have found some split pipes  :angry:

yeah the 0 ring is there mate and looks ok, looking on etka and some american sites i have been looking at they use the blanking plug there is no pipe work coming from it  :undecided:

where the hell do they vent their sump to then?

I've still got that pipe even with my catch tank...

righto found the y piece in the picture broken and although no split pipes they all feel very spongy where contaminated with oil, so bought all new for £42.77 from VW, so here is my jigsaw puzzle for tomorrow  :smiley:
