Faulty Lambda Sensor?

From time to time I get yellow indicator lighten up. Car have cat removed. Can it be lambda is not good?

Can bad lambda influence fuel consumption?

Yes, lambda sensors have a finite life and do fail.

Yes, considerably and cause all sorts of nasties.

Considering I have no cat (removed some time ago). If I unplug lambda for test what can I expect if I run it few days like that?

it'll run on default settings,  bit richer than it would with a correctly functioning lambda

Just to write here. Lambda on my car was faulty and indeed caused increase in fuel usage, along with other thins. Currently disconnected, getting new in few days.
