Although it is a non Monza thread...are there 19 inchers available.

If so any driving experience with them...

I guess in the end it will be a choice for me between Monza (18 or 19 inch)
and Glendales (19 inch)

I'm told the optional 19-inch Glendale alloys cannot be ordered in conjunction with a sunroof on the GTI because of a weight restriction on the model's front axle.

I take it when to say Monza's you are talking about the Monza Shadow 2's made by Ronal? if so as far as I'm aware there aren't any gens available in 19's only 18's...but there are 19's & 20's monza style available on the Bay...but like everyone on here I wudn't recommend copies

restrictions on the wheel maybe, but surely they would not be so close to the limit? axle itself should not be affected by the wheels I would think

Well all I can say to that is that such a thing is not mentioned in the dutch brochure....the Monza Shadow is called Detroits over here...pretty lame to call things different in other European countries

The dealer will let me know since I have the sunroof on my list, though I find it hard to digest that such a weight problem can exist.....

Today the dealer phoned and stated that those Glendales would not look nice (his opinion) on my carbon grey GTI.
Reason they are high gloss black....

Instead he advised (if I wanted different alloys) the look-a-like namely the 18 or 19 inch version of the Audi Rotor alloys...they are grey so more of a match.

I am not good at all in photoshop...can anybody (if it is not too much trouble) do something with this pic...

Anyway this gives you an idea...
