removing mk3 handles ?
« on: 24 December 2009, 00:37 »
Hi all

Sort of getting the hang of painting parts of my car now so i thought i'd give colour coding the door handles a go.

What i want to know is, is it hard work getting the handles off and then put them back on again.

cheers

Easy, open the door and you will see a screw / bolt, remove and then the handle pulls out.

It is on the edge of the door, just up from the catch.

Putting the front door handles back on after removal is a bit of a b!tch though, and one I've still not managed :(
