Unfortunately I don't have any fitting advice as mine was already on my golf when I bought it.But I will say I love this mod, when people jump in my golf and I say press that button there for me (all casual), then they do and they're all like "woooow".Mine's a crome button with a crome surround, and whoever fitted it must've done it properly because the button won't work whilst the engine is running, and you can't start the engine via the ignition.I love it.... Thumbs up for meĀ

Thumbs up for me It should not anyway as that will burn the starter out, also what happens if the button fails.
