just thought i'd say hello, been in vauxhall for a few yrs now, my latest bein a dti estate which the fuel pump has gone on so lookin for a new motor as i'm strippin mine bk to standard. a mate of mine had a mk3 gti a few years back and i fell in love with it so now i'm on my way into dubs  :grin:

lookin at gettin a black gti seen a few i like and seen what i wanna do with it........just wondered if theres a big difference between the 2ltr 8v and 16v?

carn't wait  :drool:

was into my vauxhalls once upon a time, then i saw the light and it's VAG all the way now   :smiley: :smiley:
MK6 GTI, 3 door, candy white, 18" monza shadow, Xenons, RCD 510 w "dynaudio", sunroof, rear view camera, cruise control & free servicing.
Ordered 28/10/2009. BW07 confirmed. production complete 10/02/2010. Arrived at dealers 17/02/2010. Driving on a 10 plate 01/03/2010.

hey, welcome to the forum.

the difference between 8v and 16v is a constant argument fought hard by both sides... in my opinion there isn't that much difference (all things considered) goodluck in the search for a car! hope you find what you want. can't go wrong with a decent golf though!  :wink:  :cool:
