Falken 452's + Snow

I'm about to drive to ASDA in the snow, using the Falken 452's.  Wish me luck!!  :grin:

i drove around in the snow with my P6000 and they where OK but the ABS was not lol!!  your be fine :P

yeh my dad has falkens on and his car could barely move in the snow  :grin: my car was fine because iv just fitted a set of avon ice touring snow tyres  :cool: and they are amazing  :rolleyes:

I don't envy you, I'm running Conti 2's and I've been slip sliding everywhere, and traction light has been on and off like a christmas tree and that's with steady driving. Roads in Manchester at the moment are in a dire state, I can picture much black ice later on once the temps drop again. IOh and I've seen 2 scoobies at the side of the road, slid straight into kerbs at what looks like some speed  :laugh: (4WD+Driver FAIL)

I'm on falken's aswell and my missus has just took my car shopping, i pray for the wheels to come back safe  :undecided:

Last year though my Evo was awesome in the snow, sideways sally and donuts galore  :laugh:

The weather is pretty bad up here,they've even stopped all flights at Manchester airport :laugh:

Well, they're fine!!  Pulling off is tricky, but that's to do with the torque through the wheels more than the tyres, had to resort to pulling away in 2nd to avoid it.  Once on the more the traction is actually quite good, cornering is also fine.

For the price I paid for them, £55 each, they're much better in the snow than I had feared  :smiley:
