fitting xenon headlamps?>
« on: 20 December 2009, 10:08 »
Hi i have a golf ed. 30 with standard headlamps, is it easy to fit the xenon headlamps? I have heard the xenons are 8 pins and some golfs are 7 pins etc?? any help would be hugely appreciated!! as i thought they would just be plug and play!

Yes you could put them in.

Your cock would severely decrease in size and it would be illegal, but it's what all the cool kids do.

(Including me but that was on projectors but I changed them to Osram Nightbreakers after Diamond Hell kindly (although sarcastically :afro:) pointed out to me they were illegal)
Golf MK3 1.8 auto and I didn't pay a grand for the "priveledge", auto windows all round and a AC. Oh and I've got a luggage net you pricks!

Does that make my willy look bigger?

Oh yeah it's called Helda or something....

I think you guys are missing the question

He's on about retro-fitting OEM xenons.

It is possible but you need a shed load of stuff like the auto-levelling sensors, harnesses, ballasts, headlamps etc etc

IMO just buy some decent bulbs from www.powerbulbs.com and fit those :afro:

it would be a nightmare mate. Not impossible just a pain and very expensive.

As already said, upgrade your bulbs, OSRAM or PHILLIPS have plenty legal bulbs you can use
