That's the road up through Shadwell isn't it R32? Our lass used to go that way to work until she kerbed her alloys (her car, not mine fortunately!!!) when she was forced into the kerb by an oncoming bus. People rushing round corners without any thought.
I can sort of cope if I stuff the car through my own stupidity but when it's someone else it hurts all the more.
Hope you get it sorted mate and it comes back as good as new.

thats the funny thing... its got so little power its almost impossible to tell.... i just assumed the huge lump thing running through the middle was the drive train.

I'd have thought driving it in the snow with the wheels spinning would have been easy to work out whether its FWD or RWD!
I was driving my fiance's BMW today in the snow (we only have about 2") and it was great fun.  I had to take the DTC off to get out of the car park, but cornering in non gritted side streets was comical!

no driven it very far as yet.. will give it a blast home tonight!

You should have observed his speed and actually speeded up yourself instead of slowing down to a crawl.  Lots to learn yet about driving me thinks.

ie got out of his way.

That's a really stupid comment.  The road is covered in snow/slush/ice, the road is clearly narrow, he's approaching a sharp bend, he's also about 50 yards from a school and you think he should have increased his speed?

I'd say you're the one who's got a lot to learn about driving.

all  in all a very poor car i have to say. wipers are next to useless. electric window switch is also difficult to use (which it shouldnt be). indicator stalks are flimsy, and the auto box has a mind of its own!!

He is whats called a troll mate, they spend a lot of time in newer sections of forums as people are not aware of them. They spend there time writing things that will get a reaction. They will usually have other log in ID's as well.
You have to ignore them
