simple q, grille badge

Bought a red-trim 4 light grille from ebay, just wondering can you get the grille gti badge with 8v underneath instead of the 16v one, don't want to pretend something i'm not

Yep, you can. Pop down to your local breakers, you're bound to find one.
or, chop off the '16v' bit off the badge you have, and just have the GTI bit.

my badges just pulled off, cleaned it up as they use that rubbery glue, just pull at it and see ?

I want to have 8v under the GTI badge though, as i think it'll look better with 8V underneath
