Things to look for on a Mk 4 GT TDi
« on: 10 December 2009, 18:28 »
I've got a 2002 Golf GT TDi 150 lined up and hopefully buying on Sat. It's done 151,000 miles.

Does anybody have any advice on anything to look out for fault wise? I'm taking my friend who is a MOT tester with me but would like to know any common faults on this car I should be looking out for.

Cheers,

Mike

Just found that Golf on Google Maps Street View at the dealers address  :undecided:

It looks like dodgey dealings in a rough area to me

Whats the chances of typing in the dealers address for directions and finding the same make and model of car in the same colour and with the same wheels parked further down the street

Managed to get a clearer picture of the reg on Google by going down the street a bit and then zooming in and it seems the one on the map is a 52 plate and the one for sale is a 02

!! Do you want to do digital forensics! lol

The pictures from Google street are not current. If that is the same car I would guess its been on that forecourt a while.
