Hi Freddie,

Something terrible has happened!!! I rode the bike at lunchtime today, and was involved in an accident. the bike still works but is now scratched and dented on one side... I assume you won't want this now, this is a terrible shame as I imagine your son was really looking forward to spitroasting his family with the bike? as I gather you must be a backroom bandit you probably won't want to buy it now?

I await your response,

Gavin

Dear Freddy,

Am a little concerned about this deal as I've never dealt internationally before. If you want me to ignore all the questions then the price of the scooter will go up. I want ?2000 for it.

Let me know if you are still interested.

best wishes,

Gavin

Hi Freddrick,

I am a little confused by a couple of things. Firstly your address is a PO number and not a home address? why is this? secondly, there are a great number of Piaggio dealers in California who sell these scooters, so why are you paying the extra money to import one. Thirdly, and this is very important, because legislation is different in the uk, the scooter has different emission levels to the USA, so the bike would be illegal there....

Hope you can shed some light on these questions.

Gavin

Could you also send me your full name, address and phone number along with some visual form of id. As you can understand with so many scammers out there today i need to be careful.

Hello Gavin,
Thank for the mail and the pics of the bike .I am okay with the price(?1450) of the bike and i am buying the  bike to my son that is getting married at the end of the month
To let you know that i have a creditor client who has been owing me ?4450 for years now and i told him that i am inneed of the money but he said he can only issue me the money through  Certified Cheque drawn from out from United Kingdom so i have  explianed the matter to him that i am buying a  bike from you and he agreed that he will send the payment to your contact adress.
However  as soon as you have receive the payment and has already cleared into your bank account, you are strongly advise to deduct your money and send the remaining balance of  ?3000 to the shipping company through western union money transfer, who will be taking care of the shipment .I thereby want you to send to me your Name , Address , Telephone Number where the payment would be send to . As i do hope that you will be a honest and reliable person to deal with .Because , i will be very glad to have the  bike in time and that depends on your end there ,so the shipper can quickly come for the shipment as fast as you make this done. Waiting to hear from you soonest.
My Regards,
  Freddrick
