Unsold GTIs

Was in Dane , Chester (tel 01244 390033) at lunchtime signing the paperwork for my TDI collection next Friday (18th).

Noticed these in the showroom...

GTI 5 dr
Tornado Red
Black Vienna Upholstery (htd seats etc)
Cruise control
Matt black 18" Monzas
ACC
RNS510 sat nav
MF steering wheel


No xenons, park sensors, rear camera, sunroof or mudflaps

Listed at £29365 but i bet a deal could be done ?


Also White GTI, black leather, full ABT bodkit, 19" wheels in polished/black/red and that god awful rear diffuser and exhaust set-up. No price on it, but reckon £40k ish.

Thought they might be of interest to those fed up waiting ??

That red one would be a nice car for someone who is happy to take whatever is available, but £30k for a Golf? VW prices are just getting silly now.

As for the ABT kitted ones. Listers in Worcester had one in the showroom for around £40k. Who in their right mind would pay that much for something so hideous?

I would not hold out on getting a deal on the GTI in Chester, they are of the opinion that the GTI sells itself, so no discount what so ever!

they said that about my tdi, then knocked 9.5% off and scrappage and that was a car that was spec changeable, not sat in the showroom costing money
