anyone know if there is a certain way of geting into these to change them as i have had no luck in getting to it.cheers,dave.

remove the front bumper, take out headlight and replace bulb, or if you got girlie hands you can just about do it with the headlight in place

no I HAVE changed mine that's why myself and Steve are telling you the easiest way is to take the headlight out.

I have to change mine at some point but can't understand why VW would make you take the bumper off! Yeah it's only 9 bolts and a few clips but still.....

Replaced my side light bulbs yesterday both sides and done it with headlight in place.
I spose being a mechanic you just get used to doing awkward things. TBH i didn't find it very awkward though.

i fitted the silvertek indicator bulbs a while back, my hands were f**ked afterward.
