« on: 04 December 2009, 10:27 »
Guys,

Ive got a 1.8T and i brought the sharan torch lighter i placed inthe original light socket, how ever when i try to close the ashtray lid it wont since the torch lighter alittle bigger then the original, is this normal.

Also when i want to charge it up do i place the lighter in the socket and push it down and hold, cos im sure it doesnt hold it self and release later.

thats normal - it just catches the top but its never damaged mine; you can sort of lift the lid a little to clear it and it will close

you mean the torch itself of the cigarette lighter?? Torch just plugs in and charges - no pooping up or anything

Lighter I think pops up when its hot enough
