dont know how to set it up and all that, is it just plug it and leave it? or do you have to place it somewhere in the centre of the car? i got a quote for £70 inc part and fitting in birms (perry bar) but i also know that a guy from up north would do it 4 £60 and i also wanted the fog light option when you are or disarm the fog lights come on and also i wanted it to chirp and he said £75 all in, which i think is brill i think his website is http://www.safe-n-sound-uk.com he did say his name was barry and i think this is his website but no contact details. ive got his number. i might do it this weekend or next.

thanks anyway

you need to get access to the alarm brain to plug the microwave in
the fog light activation requires a relay and extra wiring
the chirps you should be able to do yourself as long as you have the 4 digit code

If he's up in the Leeds area then he is the guy that had a fair few good reviews over on ed38 and clubgti  I spoke to him a while back and he was friendly enough and happy to sit on the phone and tell me what i would/wouldn't need for a mk2 (he has quite a bit of experience with them).

That said, you can't always trust recommendations on forums :lipsrsealed:

i asked him about the fog lights and he said you can do it, and they want £125 for proxies HAHAHAHAHA no i dont think so not from me. and then he started to diss all these companies that do the installation, ok then if they do close down and are one band man then why the f**k do you even approve them of your "professional installers"? i think he just wanted the sale, C*NT
