Window tints

Am I right in thinking that new legislation that came into force earlier this year now means it is illegal to have any sort of window tints fitted forward of the b-pillar e.g. front door windows?
Really wanted to get quite a dark tint all round on my car but now it seems like I wont be able to. I don't think it would look right to have all the rear glass done if the fronts wont match.

goto google and type in new uk laws on window tinting i got a site straight away tells you all you need to know. it can be tinted aslong as its not impairing your vision day or night basically if its too dark you get 10 days to remove it but fines etc im not sure about.

the "impaired" vision excuses are a load of tosh, there are no laws against driving while wearing sunglasses, which are darker than most window tints.
its just so the nosey coppers can see inside the car.

how many people can see with sun glasses on at night tho chris lol
thats there excuse cause some1 killed a pedestrian and blamed it on his tinted windows that he couldnt see them, so some pompus mp decided to have the laws changed.

If you get them done by a professional company like Pentagon (
http://www.pentagonglasstech.com
) you can be guaranteed that what they do will be legal.
Go to a back street merchant, and you're more likely to have something done that will get you nicked.
