Power figures are in!!!
« on: 30 November 2009, 13:27 »
I've been messing about with the car now for the best part of two years to try and get the best out of the old girl and slowly but surely increasing the power and associated hardware to cope. Just been to my regular Dyno at Noble Motorsport to get my next set of figures up and here they are..................

378.6bhp at 6872 rpm and 353.6lbft at 3554 rpm

Over 300bhp from 4,500rpm to the redline
Over 300lbft from 3,300rpm to 6,600rpm
Makes stock ED30 power by 3,500rpm

First set was taken a few weeks back and is in dotted lines. Todays set of figures are in solid ink.

The figures have been going up slowly from 300bhp through 333bhp to my latest set of figures. A few weeks ago there was a bunch of Focus ST owners on an RR day with remaps etc, struggling to get much over stock bhp on this same dyno.

Enjoy

Impressive. Hurdy, any particular thread where I can read about the work you've done to achieve that?

I dread to think how much all that cost.

Very impressive though.

Thanks - these are the bits I'm interested in

Performance/Handling Modifications
Forge Diverter valve.
EVOMS intake
Autotech fuel pump.
REVO Stage 2+ (3 for the US guys!)
Milltek full turbo-back exhaust.
Forge Intercooler.

I'm just researching potential mods for the new toy I'm getting next year. You mention a custom remap in your build thread, but are there any other mods? I was reading Volkswagen Driver mag featured a APR-tuned Ed30 with 330bhp. Seems like a similar spec but without the larger intercooler and modified intake.
