All good choices there Snoopy, especially the sunroof, ACC and 18's. I think the tyre pressure monitor is standard though.

I'd go with all of them except perhaps the flat tyre indicator, we've been through the advantages and disadvantages of it somewhere way back near the start of this forum and it seems to hardly be worth the £35.

Definitely go for the ACC the more miles you put on your car the better it feels, I feel it has loosened up somewhat and is more responsive.  To be honest earlier on when the car was brand new it hardly noticed.

Monza II's or shadows depending on who you speak to!! are a definite given.

Here's hoping you can still change your spec.

Tyre pressure is not standard.  IIRC its something like 35-40 quid.  However, it has been much maligned on this forum as not worth even that!

Of the others, I would say the 18 inch Monzas are essential.  Will set off your Xenons perfectly

ACC worth it if: 1) you do a lot of motorway miles and/ or 2) you have really poor roads around you and/ or 3) you fancy doing a track day

Cruise - personally I don't see the need.  Again if you do motorway miles, then will be great for those average speed limit zones

Lux pack - gives you folding mirrors - however won't work on the key fob, you do manually from inside the car

Sunroof - lets in more light, however rare for the uk to have much sunshine!  Air con will keep temp down in the car.

Mk6 Golf GTI 5dr, DBP, Monza Shadow, Xenons, ACC, RCD510, Park Assist, Camera, Lux pack.... and now bluetooth.... and now DSG!

My dealer will fit the cruise for £156 all in which is cheaper than factory! Worth checking with yours.

are you not in danger of putting your build date back even further by adding these on at such a late date?

Any VW dealership should be able to sort you with this. You dont even have to spec it at the build stage, can be done at any point after pick up as a dealer fit accessory, well worth the money if you do a bit of motorway driving.

Good point.... the way the build dates are anyway... nitemare

I don't see the point of the shadow wheels or the criuse control.  The rest is all good - £35 isn't a lot and the flat tyre indicator can never be a negative spec.

The ACC is a must have, the others are just nice, but not essential.
