Silver looks good on any car, IMHO. Good, but not that exciting for a GTI...

first Mk6 GTI I saw was a silver one and I thought it looked pretty horny    looked kinda futuristic and hi-tec, tho I had just come from a silver car so fancied a change.  other benefit is that it hides the dirt pretty well!

I followed a steel grey one on 18's on the M25 last week - good colour IMO. Light enough to contrast the black grille/headlamps, but dark enough to contrast the shiny wheels.
