Respray - How Much & Where?

"Spray Tek" seems like a professional company based in East London with plenty of experience, and serious portfolio - http://www.spray-tek.co.uk/

As I said, they quoted £800 (which I thought is too much), but I didn't go into details, so I'll send another email today and see what they are saying.

I'm definitely NOT paying £1000+ for a respray, lol

it'd cost £500 in paint alone...so be wary of the cheap quotes.

also note that mk3's are worthless so you wont get back any money you spend on a respray

Got a reply from Spray Tek...Their quote of £800 is for exterior only...

Probably I'll need to think about whether it's worth respraying or not, because seems like it's not worth it, even if I like the car and want to keep it for a while.

you're talking 10-15hrs for labour on top of the paint.  So you've got to ask what finish you're going to get for £300

After tinting my windows, an idea came to my mind to "wrap" the car instead of painting it...Any advice on this?
