Thats great Guy,

We can cover the Mk3 (presumably your everyday vehicle) as your main car and if the Mk1 can be on a limited mileage basis we could cover this as a 2nd car (both modified or standard).

NCB would be required upon the first vehicle but we can either mirror the percentage discount to the 2nd vehicle, or look to cover it on a retro/cherished low use policy that (is aimed at 2nd vehicles) requires you to own an everyday vehicle but does not require NCB.

Either way, we can look at this for you nearer the time.

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Tony

I've had a policy with Greenlight on a modded MK4 golf GTI 1.8t about 18 months ago. I was very pleased with every aspect of the Greenlight service and the quote was excellent. Thank you.

I didnt renew as I got a new job with a company car which has gone now so Im looking for insurance on an 8v Mk3 GTI.

Due to my previous experiance with Greenlight you were the first people I turned to for a quote.....However......

I've moved House since to a quite country side village called Lymm and Im no longer able to get insurance due to the post code WA13. is this right as my previous address was Stockport and my new location is quite posh with zero crime.

Not moaning, I'd just would like to give you a chance to get my business.

also how do I stand on my NCB I had 5 years with you as my last insurer then 18 months as a company.
car driver

Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich,

Thanks for your kind comments, your feedback as to your experiences when you held a policy via Greenlight is really appreciated.

We'd also love a shot at your business again this year!

Postcode wise, we have had a restricted market for the WA postcodes for some time now. This came about originally due to the level of theft claims experienced from the WA postcode areas and led to most of our scheme Underwriters withdrawal from offering preferential terms/concessions to the WA areas.

The remaining Underwriters do cautiously offer terms to WA postcodes on a bespoke basis and we have had some success within areas such as Knutsford, thus covering Lymm is still a possibility.

Your NCB will be valid with most of the market for 2 years and to be safe I'd be happy to check your old record with us in order to be specific as to the expiry date.

If you can PM me your actual name, postcode and date of birth i'll be able to look into any recent application that you've made, along with the last policy expiry date for you.

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Richard,

Your kind comments about your prior experiences as a Greenlight customer who wanted to return to us motivated us to see what we could do for you on an individual basis. This quickly led to a full blown review of WA13 followed by some negotiation over the last 2 days Wa13 (Lymm) is provisionally reinstated from a Greenlight preferental scheme access basis.

I've PM'd you with more detail.

Kind regards & merry christmas

No Worries Richard, glad I could help.

It's all worked out in the end and turned out that you've also helped anyone else with a performance car in WA13

I've just filled in a quote.

You guys were noteably pricier last year had to go elsewhere, just hope I can recieve some of the love that's clearly shown to other members on here

Tony - will you be dealing with my quote - or is just random? I did state I was referred from here!

Thanks
