WTF happened yesterday!!
The worst winter in 30 odd years and some many people braved it and turned up as if it was a mid summer meet.  We was not expecting the turn out like we had, maybe 8-10 cars max and a few to turn to watch with the rest stopping at home keeping warm. Credit to you all who came along and got your feet cold!!!

The final total raised for charity was £1100, after me and the wife spent 3 hours counting and bagging the money at 11pm last night. This will be paid in to the back and a cheque wrote out and handed over later this week in front the local news paper (time for a shave and hair cut me thinks)

I would like to thank EVERYONE who helped out, turned up, took part and dontated. A big thanks to Chris and Ben for working there only day off..lol  and thanks to Ade & Hulmie to helping promote the event and spending most of the day helping out.

Just one problem which I have just found is which is going to upset the first runners on the dyno. On the Saturday night we was mapping Bavs car on the dyno using the eddy brake which added extra load to the rollers, the load was taken off the dyno but the calculation in the software stayed inplace which ended up giving a higher reading. :embarassed:  So there a a few BHP to take of the results.  I have adjusted the calculations to give the correct results. I thought they where running high so we reset the software after the first few, but its only this morning I can see why they where high.

I will be adding all the graphs to the r-tech rr photobucket account later today

cars in question with edited graphs.

who's car is V83 ECK, i dont have any pictures of this on the rollers and not sure if the photographer got this one. So could you please email me with your name, Car details, any photo's you got of the car on the rollers, list of engine mods, and your comments and R-tech comments. Then i will forward these to the photographer to ensure they go in the magazine.

Nick - Yeh was a big surprise everyone that turned up made the effort when it was bloody freezing. My feet are still feeling it this morning as i think i soaked up about 2 litres of water through me trainers.

Great final figure mate, there was also a £50 currys voucher in the money bag to give to the charity.

Yeh best scrub up mate, dont want the picture looking like Grizzly adams.lol

Well done to you and your team for all the hard work. well worth it. Think we'll be talking about a summer Dyno :afro:

i just wanna say thanks to all who arranged the rr day and the charity function/donated bit for charity. i was surprised at the turn out in the poor weather conditions and the amount of travelling some people did just to be there. fingers crossed we'll do a 'summer one' and have a bigger turnout and some more funds for the charity.

Thankfully mine wasn't one of the cars that read too high on the power scale as I am more than impressed with 138hp!
