tbh i was pulled over for having my fog lights on a clear night, unless the copper was a PR!CK! this was just over a year ago.

Thats because using fog lamps when it is not foggy is illegal.

OMG this thread started as a guy wanted to add front fog lights now this has become a massive debate. LOVING IT keep going

Alright, I got the fogs, the blanks, the wiring and the switch.

Now the trouble that I'm having is how to fix the fog light in its place so it doesn't come out? There's a clip on side, which does help a bit, but once I put the blanks in, they push the fogs out...WTF?

I'm assuming that there must be some additional fixing parts for the fogs, because there are two holes on the other side, and obviously they are there for a reason.

I'm confused

Yup VR's have some clips which push onto the bumper allowing you to screw the fog lights in place

I stole mine off my VR6 Highline before I sold it.. fogs aswell! Haha!

Basically get yourself to a scrapyard and see if you can find some

Finding a VR6 in my scrapyard is like winning £1m in lottery....

I'm in West London, and my local scrapyard barely has any Golfs (2-3 at most, not GTI/VR6). Would be great if anyone could suggest a good "dubbish" scrapyard around London West?
