Hi guys

Bit of an idea, i would have posted this thread in the bright ideas thread but i wanted this to be in the MK4 section!

Why dont we have a car of the month, It would really motivate people to post more , and to really get involved on the forum! Alls we seem to hear on the forum at the moment is bloody winter parts going pop! Or poor fuel consumption!

I think if we did this it would also make a cool debate, to here peoples thoughts on why they voted for that car, and why they didnt! also might attract some other people on other forums to come on here so they can possibly win it! I know when the calendar was made alot of people joined just for that!

I think this could be really cool, its probably been mentioned before, but i think a golf MK4 car of the month scheme would work well! It's not about how much money someone spends a month, but maybe, who has thought of a cool unique idea? Or someone who has taken a mint photo! Or even someone whose car has really come on in that month!

Anyway thought i would do a poll on it here , so topher and Rhyso could see the result! I will run the poll for 7 days!

The way administrators have a nice little 'medal' icon below there name, the winner of car of the month could have a little trophy icon under theres until the month is over!

Is a good idea mate, but you just have to be careful with people saying why they dont like certain cars and people can take critisim badly.

But think the general idea you have is good.

I think car of the month is just better! Modifying is always going to be personal opoinion! But thats the best thing! It makes good topic talk! not just parts that have broke! or ' has anyone got this part number'

Im up for the car of the month competition.
Everyone gets postive and negative criticism anyway when they post the pics of their cars so it shouldnt really matter!!

How about 'fit bird lording it over your car' of the month? Surely when we run out of cars, there will still be some birds who don't mind posing for a Maccy D's.
